Changelog
- Updated Play Aids
- Added Table of Contents and proper Bookmarks
- A lot of people have been asking for this one. It took a while because I had to do everything by hand, but with some patience I was able to pull it off as elegantly as I could with as little investment as possible.
- Adjusted Attributes and Skills
- Renamed attributes to Might, Dexterity, Wisdom, and Spirit (the original names from back in the day) and made them start at 0 instead of 1, increasing the starting points from 4 to 8. Adjusted Health and Stamina accordingly to 5+Stat to maintain similar values.
- Traversal lacked some physical capabilities and, along with Awareness, they were pretty much obligatory skills. To ammend this, I've turned Awareness and the newly renamed Athletics into secondary attributes that derive directly from Wisdom+Spirit and Might+Dexterity, respectively. They're both tied to the instinctual uses of their former skill counterparts.
- Re-tooled Awareness into its ancestor, Analysis. Now, instead of being an obligatory skill, it's an investment into a skill that leans more into rational thinking, problem-solving andd pattern recognition, like it was intended in the first place.
- Merged Alchemy into Craft and moved all medicinal alchemy to the Healing skill. Now, Craft is a catch-all invention-ingenuity type deal, making it easier to grok and use as a centerpoint for Talents without dilluting the skill list.
- Renamed Presence into Influence and clarified its role.
- Clarified the role of Wilderness to include Pathfinding (as intended, instead of Awareness)
- Stealth now includes catch-all acrobatics that were taken from Traversal after the Athletics separation.
- Clarified Language Ranks and made a special exception with their training (you can now train a language alongside your weekly skills)
- Revised the Creation Path for Weavers
- Clarified that its intended use and ability includes enchanting things like metal golems and clay homunculi
